SCOUT is looking for his perfect home. Scout is a handsome labrador and greyhound mix and a precious soul that was saved from the elist at Pinal where he would have been destroyed. During his initial phase of fostering, It was discovered that he likely had experienced the kind of past that involved abuse and mishandling from which he has some residual PTSD. He needed the care, patience and trust building that his fosters provided and could not have found a better foster environment.
His fosters have been patiently working with him through the PTSD and he has come leaps and bounds. He has learned to trust again and his confidence has grown tremendously. He is a wonderful dog, who he loves to walk and run. His foster parents are active walkers and runners and he often accompanies them. He gets excited and over stimulated when he meets new dogs on his treks so we are continuing to work on that and his leash behaviour. We are fully committed to ensuring this boy is equipped to have the best life and is now entering the next and final phase of his rehabilitation. He loves to play fetch and loves to play with toys. He will be available for adoption very soon to the best possible home.
