This precious little love, Aria, was rescued from the shelter after being trapped on the Ak Chin reservation. is a Carolina Dog mix. Very afraid and timid at the shelter, Aria has quickly adapted in our rescue and loves everyone she gets to know...people, other dogs...even the cat. Although she is a Carolina Dog mix, someone (presumably) cut off her tail and she also has a former injury to her sternum and ribs, likely a kick from a person or large animal that has healed incor rectly. After a thorough vet exam, it was determined that this probably occurred when she was very young but it has no negative impact to her. It just makes her that much more special.  Aria will be available for adoption March 1st.
