My name is Scruff McGuff but you can call me Scruff! I was going to be put-down at a shelter for being afraid of people and very frightened there. That was a very scary place for a little guy like me, and people had not been very kind to me in the past. I was rescued by Lifeline Oro Valley Animal Rescue and had a wonderful foster parent who helped me overcome my fears. Now I realize not all people are bad. I am a little shy of new people, especially men, but once I know I am safe, I will want to be next to you and I am very loyal. I would enjoy times sitting cuddled up next to you. I am really a calm, good boy, friendly with other dogs, even cats. They say I have a cute "eye-mask" and little eyebrows! But the best thing about me is I have a very sweet temperament and a lots of love that I have been saving for my perfect person or family. I would love to be with someone who will be as loyal to me as I will to them and continue to help me build my trust in people and you will see me shine as I become more confident and enjoy a long happy life together.
