Kristi is a 35 pound, 1 year old, Basenji / Heeleer mix, that has lots of energy for an active person. She loves walks. running and swimming and playing ball and she's learning to play Frisbee! After she's done with all that she loves to cuddle up with her person and relax awhile. She would also make a good ranch dog although it's not known how she would be around chickens or other small animals. She does very well off leash on trail hikes and returns to her handler when called. Kristi is crate trained, house broken, she is a smart girl, knows "sit" and "down" and "stay". She knows that she needs to let her person go through gates and doors first and she's not supposed to get in the car until she is asked to. She walks moderately well on a leash, but walks great with a gentle leader. Kristi currently lives with several other dogs in her foster home. She is good with most dogs with proper introduction.
